Genital Warts Treatment - No More Warts

U
sing a natural genital warts treatment is a very effective way to get rid of genital warts, the most common sexually-transmitted disease caused by a virus.

Genital warts, otherwise called condyloma acuminata are caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). Over 100 types of HPV have been discovered and about 40% of these can potentially affect the anus, cervix, penis, scrotum,

HPV is also responsible for causing warts that can appear in the mouth, throat, feet and hands.

Although genital warts are painless, they can cause itching and a discharge not to mention embarrassment.

In more serious case, genital warts may block the urethra and prevent a person from urinating. In the latter case, it is imperative to see a doctor immediately.

If you have genital wart, preventing it from spreading is one of the first lines of defense.

Warts of any kind are easily spread from one location to another. All that is needed is a break in the skin for the human papillomavirus to enter and begin reproducing. It is therefore important not to touch genital warts nor poke it and cause bleeding.

You also need a genital warts treatment that will eliminate genital warts (and other types of warts too) and inactivate the HPV. Such treatments are usually applied to the skin. Within 2- 6 weeks the wart(s) should be gone.

Many of these treatments contain essential oils that are extracted from plants. These oils have anti viral activities and most importantly, contain no harsh chemicals or acids that will irritate your skin.

One such oil is tree oil. A study performed at the Belfast City Hospital found that the application of tea tree oil topically for a child’s wart located on the finger eliminated the wart and allowed for all the cells to return to normal. (Source: Complementary Therapies In Clinical Practices Nov. 2008, Vol.  14, No. 4, 225-7.

However, they are very few studies on the use of this oil as a natural remedy for genital warts.

A topical genital warts natural cure may also contain other natural substances that have antiviral properties.

Examples of such substances are thuja essential oil, lemon oil, the milky substance from milkweed or dandelion, garlic paste, frankincense oil, aloe vera gel, cedar and black walnut tincture.

Herbs can also be consumed orally as a genital wart cure. These herbs strengthen the immune system and deactivate the virus.

Propolis (bee pollen) is one example of such a herb. In a study, it was given to patients with different types of warts. The success rate was 75%. In that same study, Echinacea was 73% effective. (Source: Int. J Dermatol, Nov 2009, Volume 48, No. 11). Cat's claw can also work very well.

Whichever genital warts treatment you use, make sure you use it long enough to eliminate the root of the wart; otherwise, the wart will grow back.
